New user of WLPro v5.6.
-------------------------------

I have not been able to figure out an easy way to rename a script. I have to open it, save it under another name, then go back and delete the prev one. In WLPro 4.5 you could edit the name by either selecting the name twice or via right-click context menu; its missing in v5.

Similarly, I have not been able to figure out where to place my favorite scripts for quicker access. Is the Favorites toolbar gone in v5?

This question was raised lately:

Move / rename scripts?

Gone, for simplification purposes - and for the better: one of its benefits is that the interface of WL5 is not as crowded as it was before. Workaround:

How do I handle Favorites?

1. Move/Rename...
Oh dear, that's just so cumbersome. Hope you guys can provide it in the future like it was in v4.

2. Favs...
That may work with a small number of scripts. For a large number, I don't think its practical to put charts of the scripts into a workspace.
Hope you guys can restore the Favorites toolbar in the future; an option can be placed in Preferences to enable/disable its view if simplicity is a concern or for those using small monitors.

If you have a large number of favorites, what about putting them in a single folder?

Actually, it's not a good idea and is a poor UI practice. The more options, settings and such, the more cumbersome and non-intuitive becomes application's design.

They would still be multiple clicks away. Besides, I have my trading scripts plus ones I am working on etc and they would go to different folders. More clicks.

The Favs toolbar can be rolled up behind the Datasets, if need be. I mention that in passing, not b/c I really expect the developers to do it. For the record, I found the Favs toolbar very useful in v4, and really miss it in v5.
