if one is not a US citizen but spends a lot of time in US, can he still get Developer version?

i presume that he can purchase Developer version as long as there is proof that he is not US resident (a foreign passport should do, right?).

is there some sort of monitoring from what IP he downloads the data? let's say he keeps WL on his laptop that spends 10 months in US and 2 months elsewhere. one could claim that 10 months in US makes him US resident for WL license purposes. will he be forced to abandon Developer and switch to Pro?

DB,

Actually, we aren't checking passports because it's going to be a very laborious operation. We will simply not accept orders for purchase of Wealth-Lab Developer 5 with a U.S. or Canadian credit card.

once purchased with a European credit card, can Developer be used (mostly) in US?

Frankly, in today's world marked with widespread availability of things like distributed network relays, VPNs and of course proxies, you can be having a hard time telling where a tech-savvy user is coming despite you have his IP on hand.

Should you have any moral discomfort from using Developer outside of Europe, please let us know so the key can be disabled at your pleasure :)
