Hi,
When I create a new folder and a new strategy in that folder, I am not able to find this folder or file in:
c:/Program Files (x86) / Fidelity Investmets / Wealth-Lab Pro 5 / Data / Strategies
The strategy folders provided by WL 5 are there but not my new files.
Nevertheless, the files are available when I re-open WL 5.
Can you please tell me where they are saved?

Thank you for the pointer - I never would have expected strategy code to be data.

Why? What you download, draw on chart, create, prefer (settings) is the data.
Modern applications do not store data where you were looking for it i.e. Program Files. This folder only keeps the canned strategies ready for reinstallation etc. According to Microsoft guidelines, data and program files have been separated for years and it's considered good practice.

Because my training tells me that there is code (the programs, ie strategies) and there is data (that which the programs take in and put out, ie data sets). Of course my training and experience is decades old. I suppose you could argue that the strategy code is the data that the Wealth Lab code takes in.
