Is there a data source for downloading mutual fund price data? I have some interest in trying to apply WL strategies to mutual fund data.

Thanks,

Fidelity, Yahoo!, or MSN will work.

Thanks. That worked i.e. making myself a watchlist of mutual fund symbols and then updating data. It would have been nice if there was a way to easily make a watchlist that included all of the available mutual funds or to be able to make a watchlist that included certain categories of mutual funds like large cap funds or all the funds by a certain vendor. Perhaps that is possible but I have not yet discovered how to do that.

Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Unfortunately it's not currently possible with the Yahoo! provider. I asked the developer if the classification can be extended to include mutual funds, let's wait for the expert opinion.

Adding mutual funds to the classification groups is possible, but would be a low priority task:

a) currently there are loads of high priority tasks on the plate, and
b) it's a single request for organizing mutual fund symbol groups so far.

Thanks. Having it as a low priority task seems reasonable to me.

"that included certain categories of mutual funds like large cap funds or all the funds by a certain vendor " I think that Barchart.com can be helpful.
