Hi,

I tried to launch a second instance of wealth-lab 6. I tried it with the follwing command

runas.exe /user:Administrator\my2user "C:\Program Files\MS123\Wealth-Lab Developer 6\WealthLabDev.exe".

But I get an error which says that already an instance of wealth lab is running?

Why do I want to launch a second instance. -> Because Wealth lab uses just one Core. If I run two backtest at the same it seems that they are blocking each other.

Best Regards

Hi Andres,

With or without additional switches, runas.exe is not going to work. You'll have to strike Win-L, login to the my2user account, and manually start WLD from there.

P.S. Since the user profiles can not (and should not) be shared, you'll also have to copy the data/strategies to the my2user's profile under AppData\Roaming (for the exact location, please see the User Guide > Data > Where data are stored?)

Hi Eugene,

thank you. Now everything seems to work fine.
