I am looking to learn the basics of developing an automated trading system, so I can eliminate all discretionary trading.

I have been trading for years using basic MA crosses, MACD crosses and channel breakouts...

Can anyone suggest books where I can learn basic programming codes, etc. or other resources or websites that would be advisable?

Thanks very much.
