1. WLP 6.7.18.0: A tab now appears on the right side of Home form at the right side of the "What's New?" box. When clicked it pops up a survey with questions about my visit to Fidelity (but I'm not visiting Fidelity). Is this behavior by design? My guess is that a clever web developer attaches this tab electromagically to every outbound HTML page?

The WLP Home Page is served by Fidelity, so in fact you are visiting fidelity.com. Any other site you visit from Wealth-Lab Pro (including wealth-lab.com) will come with a "Navigating to a 3rd party site" warning, unless you've previously disabled that.
Anyway, I think you're right about the electromagic. A survey doesn't really make sense for the WLP Home page, and it's easy to ignore.
