Hi. I have been away from WLP for a while, and got back in this morning. After downloading the latest version of WLP, I ran a back test on the same strategy that I had on this for a long time, and i got an error message saying:

Error in Visualizer: TabPageRW: [Analysis Series], removing. Method not found: 'System.Collections.Generic.IList"1<wealthLab.Bars>WealthLab.SystemPerformance.get_Bars()'.

what is this, and what to do?

And when I view the equity+drawdown% tab, the chart is very bizarre. Something is wrong. this same strategy used to back test more normally. Here is a screenshot.

Update both visualizer libraries to their latest versions: MS123 "Performance Visualizers library" and "Extra Performance Visualizers". They're outdated and incompatible with WL 6.4. Don't forget to restart WLP.

There is nothing wrong with Equity+Drawdown, or "Equity+" as it's called in newer versions. Since the screenshot is a perfect example how it was designed to be, you must be confusing it with e.g. the built-in Equity and/or Drawdown tabs.

P.S. Even if a problem existed (it does not), your "more normally", "something is wrong" and "very bizarre" descriptions would be absolutely useless in troubleshooting. Please carefully read this excellent text on

I downloaded the new wlp version from Fidelity site. and then I clicked on the existing wlp icon on my desktop thinking that the new version would have replaced the old one that was there. I don't see another icon on my desktop any way. Maybe I am still using the old version since the tab says Equity+Drawdown%. what do you suggest, and yes the current equity curve is bizarre. It should not be flat and then vertical and so on like steps. The ones that I got when I previously testsed the same strategy was more natural looking with sharp hills and some times deep valleys.

You seem to have overlooked my clear explanation in post #4 to which I've got positively nothing to add:

See the User Guide > Extension Manager. Additional reading: Extensions HowTo

P.S. By the way, I see you were typing in the error message manually (for there are inaccuracies). FYI, in Windows all you have to do is Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to where you like it then. This would copy it to the clipboard in plain text. Applies to message boxes like in your case and to exception dialogs as well. Simple and helpful.
