I'm relatively new to wealth lab and wanted to know what is the difference between the EMAmodern and EMAlegacy indicators. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.

Most Wealth-Lab indicators (and all the "Standard" ones such as EMA) are documented. If you have a question on their interpretation or calculation or would like to see an example of their usage, open the Indicators list (Ctrl-F11) in WLP6, highlight the indicator and click "More info".

To quote the EMA online help page:
QUOTE:
Two similar but not equivalent formulas are available for calculating the exponent; Wealth-Lab's original method (from Pring's Technical Analysis Explained), which is selected by passing EMACalculation.Legacy as the calcType parameter.
