Just installed the extension of Forexite, however EURUSD data can't be downloaded. It shows no data available. FYI.

"Can't be downloaded" is a poor problem description. You'll need to describe better what's not working, because it's working just fine here. Describe what is happening, precisely, and then describe the part that is not working. To help you do that, the Forexite provider presents a verbose, step-by-step log of data updates.

I double clicked the symbol EURUSD in the dataset Forexite(1 Minute), on the chart, it only showed "No Data Available".

As you could read in the Forexite provider's online help page, it does not support on demand data update. You must manually update the DataSet before attepmting to chart and/or backtest.

If you did that, tell us the following:

1. Your data loading range for the EURUSD,
2. How much bars were downloaded and the last date (Data Manager > highlight DataSet > Symbol Details),
3. Provide the data update log with the relevant strings from Forexite.

Tried to support you but I don't understand Chinese. Is there any other way to get a verbose, precise, clear, illustrated description of what's going on and what you're doing, step by step? Thanks.

:)
First click "New..." on the Data Panel. Then follow the wizard, choose the Forexite as the provider to create a new Dataset. A list of checkboxes with symbols are showed after that. I choose EURUSD. Then next. Forexite(1 Minute) DataSet is created successfully now.
Double click the symbol EURUSD in the Forexite(1 Minute) Dataset just created, a chart pops up. But shows "No data Available". If I choose DataRange shorter, for example: 2012/2/15/ to 2012/2/20, the chart shows the same thing, no update.
Above is what I did, not sure if it is enough.
I can feel your effort to help me. Thanks so much.

Thanks, now it's clear. As I already stressed above, you must manually update the DataSet before attepmting to chart and/or backtest. This means: open the Data Manager tool, highlight the Forexite DataSet, click "Update (Price only)" and prepare to wait for about an hour. If the data update process prematurely stops for any reason, just repeat until you've got the last batch of data for 2012. Make sure you have at least 7Gb of free space on your primary HDD as well.

So it's always a good idea to read the online guide for a provider (tool, PosSizer, index definition, etc.) that you intend to use, before using. The Forexite provider is no exception, all these facts are documented there. For your own benefit, make sure you've read the Wiki page.
