I use AddFutureBars in WL 4.5.

I wonder if this function exists in WL 5.1? If not I'd suggest it be added.

I am also interested in affixing price values (O,H,L,C) to these extra bars to evaluate some indicators ahead of time. Is this possible?

PadBars doesn't function the same way as AddFutureBars. With AddFutureBars, the added space was accessible -- I could draw graphics in it, which was invaluable for extending trendlines into the future. I know I can check off the Extend Right item in the graphic's Properties dialog, but that's not the same thing, & not remotely as useful. For instance, frequently I want to create a line parallel to an existing line, & then drag it to begin somewhere near the end of the chart, extending past the end of the chart; with AddFutureBars, this was a snap. With PadBars, the right end of a line hits an invisible wall as soon as it reaches the beginning of the added bars. The only way to achieve what I want is to shorten the parallel line until the right end doesn't extend past the beginning of the added bars, sometimes making it only one or two bars long; of course, once I start fiddling with the length of the line by moving an endpoint, it's extremely difficult & time-consuming to try to keep it parallel to the original line, & the shorter it gets, the more difficult it is to manipulate accurately, or even select. Can PadBars be fixed so the space is usable as in AddFutureBars?

While we're on the subject of adding space to a chart: another feature I found indispensable in version 4 was the ChangeBar command. I found the Tips & Info post on simulating the results of the ChangeBar function, but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

In V5, the Date collection is read-only, making it impossible to alter dates. Therefore, AddFutureBars is unlikely to fit the bill (architecture) here.

With AddFutureBars came a host of incompatibilities from Optimization to generating alerts for ChartScripts. However, I certainly understand the desire to use the empty space for anchoring drawing tools, so I'll ask to find out if there's a possible enhancement here.
